A light bulb packaging company reached out to Mozaik to help evolve their traditional foam three-piece insert and corrugated box into a design that would minimize breakage.
Services & Solutions
Mozaik created a ChamberPak one-piece inflatable insert and reduced the size of the box. ChamberPak comes flat in a box of 2,500 each versus bulk foam packaged in sets of 50, greatly reducing the space needed for the materials.
Outcome & Results
In addition to eliminating product breakage, Mozaik’s fresh approach added space in the customer’s warehouse for their products and also resulted in:
- Annual savings of over $500,000
- 40% reduction in packaging costs for one product line
